Born and raised in Dublin, and having lived in Vienna for over 10 years, Anita moved to Budapest in May 2022 with her husband Simon and three children, Cara, Roisin and Seán.
She worked for Kerry Group in Ireland and the UN agency International Organisation for Migration (Vienna) in the field of Budgeting and Finance for almost 12 years.
Anita has experience on several committees, including the Irish Charity Ball Vienna and was the Treasurer of the Vienna Gaels football club for many years.
She and her family enjoyed a number of the well-organised IHBC events, and she was happy to take up the position as a board member in May 2023 to contribute to the work of the IHBC. Anita was elected President at the May 2025 AGM.
