Message from the President
I trust you are all well and enjoying the summer weather that has arrived in Hungary. Remember sunblock , a hat and hydration Hopefully many of you have been enjoying the European Championships. A shame that neither Irish team managed to qualify but at least we have been able to support our hosts Hungary.
With the remainder of the Olympics, the British and Irish Lions tour, GAA championships, there are loads of sporting events to celebrate. In association with the BCCH we are hoping to run an event to coincide with the second test against South Africa on the 31st of July Details to follow in the coming weeks.
We also want to start our IHBC socials again. We would like to take this opportunity to invite you all to come, meet and mingle at Beckets pub on the 16th. Details can be found in the newsletter.
I am currently in the UK and while not able to join the events physically, I will be with you in spirit.
I hope many of you take the opportunity to meet up with our board members, find out about some of our plans and maybe bring some of your own ideas to the table. In the meantime, enjoy the summer.
Best Wishes.
Damien
